This weekend the Cougar Wrestlers Competed in a field of mostly 5A and 6A schools and came away with one individual placer in the Heavyweight Division TJ McKissack finished out in the 7th place spot. The Cougars Varsity wrestlers were able to scratch out some good quality mat time and came out in 21st place scoring 31 team points. The Cougars JV team also competed and placed 15th in the JV tournament scoring 68 points. Mathias Reed Was able to place 4th at 120 lbs. Overall the wrestlers competed at a high level and are making great progress on the young season. The Wrestling team will be going on the road next Thursday for a tough test at defending State Champion Juab before they compete at the Capitol City Classic at West High School on Friday and Saturday.
