Union High School 2nd 0

The Swimming team came in 2nd today against the field of three opposing schools today at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center. The team competed against Uintah, Altamont, and Wasatch Academy. Some of the Cougars swimmers seem to still be burning off the turkey. We had a number of swimmers break personal records, and had others trying out some new events. Hannah Owen cut 30 seconds off her 200 Freestyle time while Cami Wood cut 26 seconds and finished first in event. Taylor Hawkins cut 7 seconds off his best 100 breast stroke time. Tracer Schmitt is now in the 50 second club and swam a 59.71 in the 100 freestyle. Dylan Hawkins cut 3 seconds on his 200 freestyle taking 2nd place. Will Bertoch cut 7 sec off his 200 IM taking 2nd place. Hannah Riser took 3rd in the 100 fly. Carson Stewart and Tyson Guymon took first and second in the 500 freestyle. All in all the swimmers had a lot to be happy about today!
