Girls’ tennis ends on a high note! All Varsity players qualified from the region tournament to go to the state tournament. The Union High volleyball team swept region play, going 8 and 0! The Lady Cats won all 8 of their games in region play. This means they beat Stansbury, Grantsville, Park City, and Tooele twice. The Girls Volleyball team opened up the first round of the state tournament with a win against Bear River, beating the Bears 3-1 (25-23, 20-25, 25-19 and 25-23). Kennedy Powell, a sophomore at Union, took the 3A Girls Cross Country Individual State Championship yesterday. She took third last year as a freshman.
