Last Thursday the 5th of December, Coach Atlee Zipf was introduced as the New Head Coach of girls soccer team at Union High School. Coach Zipf is a Math teacher at the high school and long time coach in both the Football and Baseball Programs. He also spent some time as the head coach of the girls basketball program at Union High School. He is determined to developing anyone associated with the program into better soccer players, but more importantly into better people. In the meeting he introduced the idea of becoming an ACE. Expectations were set that girls who want to play on the soccer team should be in A5 weights in the spring and that they should be playing one of the spring sports with an emphasis on track to improve athleticism, speed and endurance.
