Multiple Teams · Balanced Cowboy Attack Too Much For Cougars

Brady Nielsen’s 17 points and Austin Stewart’s 16 were not enough to offset five Grantsville players who scored in double figures for the Cowboys as the Cougars came up short 68-52 last night at Union High School. The Cougars cut into the Grantsville lead several times getting as close as six points throughout the game behind the strong inside play of Union center, Austin Stewart. Nielsen added two treys, along with scoring opportunities coming from the slashing and cutting of Tye Winterton and Weston Horrocks. The Cougars will travel to Payson Tuesday, December 30 for a Christmas break contest against the Lions and former Union head coach, Dan Lunt.
